Competencies

The Interpersonal competency is necessary in teachers because they must be confident and able to handle critical situations, and effectively manage the classroom. This competency also aims to have a teacher give and encourage more student autonomy. To do this, one must first be confident in one's ability to guide the lessons and let the students lead while still being able to maintain behavior.

The ability of a teacher to collaborate with his or her colleagues is essential in creating a safe and educational environment collectively, for the benefit of the students. The more ideas available, the more productive we can be as teachers to provide an education and environment in which the students can thrive.
